The prevention or relief of poverty in London and local surrounding areas, for the public benefit by providing items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

The Giving Ma-Hawa charity is committed to transforming lives and bringing hope in our communities. Our aim is straightforward but powerful: to help and care for the homeless, to battle food poverty, to aid and to empower vulnerable individuals. We are working together to make the planet more beautiful, through one act of compassion at a time.
Our religious values are at the centre of everything we do as we continue in our mission to help as many poor people as possible in all of our societies to end poverty.
Collaborative Approach
The Giving Ma-Hawa charity recognises the importance of collaboration and partnership to effectively support those in need. We work in collaboration with other charities or organisations working to Prevent or Relieve Poverty. We bridge any gaps in charitable services and help resolve problems with homelessness and supply of essential items to the needy.
By cooperation, we can maximise our impact, avoid unnecessary duplication of efforts, and provide a more holistic approach to addressing food insecurity, cost of living, hygiene items, clothing problems and crucially continue supporting the most in need in our society.
Presently we work with people experiencing conditions of need, hardship or distress in a number of areas in London and greater London. We provide practical one-to-one support to help people access our services and more. Our main aim is to relieve the huge pressures of poverty, by helping poor people as much as possible.
Every person who turns to us for support is treated as an individual, with dignity and respect. How we support someone depends on their individual needs and circumstances. By assessing on a case by case basis we establish a unique data profile over time of the needy individuals who turn to us for a lending hand.

The causes and consequences of poverty are complex. It can be multi dimensional and cumulative affecting individuals or entire communities. In order to meet the challenges that arise, we want to expand and deliver a wider range of projects and services to help the poor substantially more.
